Softdev is not a recruiting shop that finds and places employees or consultants with no further obligations. Rather, our approach is to provide an entire managed team to provide solutions to customers. By managing the project and managing our team we can control the quality of the deliverables and meet the expectations of the customer.

Our reputation is based on our ability to deliver results, not simply staff positions. Taking this approach, we maintain a tight group of tested senior developers and analysts who have worked together on previous projects. We only add to our team when we find exceptional talent and therefore offer much higher quality than is typically delivered on the general recruiting market. We work primarily offsite, capitalizing on our existing workspace and equipment, which allows us to mobilize our team to tackle corporate projects far faster than would relocation or recruiting.

We also have access to a wider array of talent by maintaining offices in multiple geographic locations and allowing some of our consultants to work from home offices if their expertise is required but they cannot relocate to our facilities. Clients that are open to outsourcing can benefit by moving projects forward quickly and adding to their internal team, rather than being satisfied with whatever talent they can recruit in their local market. Clients typically benefit from lower rates than onsite consultants with equivalent experience would charge and no additional overhead or day-to-day management costs.

Managing a Team
Softdev focuses on outside consulting and contracting with travel or onsite work as required. The primary benefit of this approach is that we can control deliverables, project planning, management, and work environment, as well as employ experienced talent that is not willing to move to client locations fulltime.
